Radu, who runs this company was incounting problems to get an invitation letter for Sabato from this forum. See more at http://www.englishmoldova.com/index.php?showtopic=172. But I think he was just unlucky to apply right when they've been going through the administrational changes at the Department of Migration.

Turism.md is the official site of the Tourism department in Moldova and they know what they are talking about. Have their reply on you when you apply for your visa.

Thank You Marisha, ive organised my travel anyway, and if successful with Moldova Visa it would be a bonus, but im travelling to Hungary, Romania and Russia, so ill maybe see it by plane LOL. Thanks again take care.

Tunisia does not require a visa if the Moldovan citizen has a return ticket and hotel reservations made through a travel agency.

I think Mexico does not require a visa (may be wrong on this). Know Azerbaijan does not. If Georgia and Armenia do, it is a fairly recent change.

If my memory is correct, several nations in Africa do not require visas and possibly some in southeast Asia.

Best to find the host nation's website for current regulations.

However, the sematic argument about no visa vs. automatic visa stamp on entry is not important to the ability of a citizen to travel. Countries which issue automatic visas on entry - such a Turkey - use it only as a tax, not as a form of control over entry. For myself I look at those places as where you just have to pay a fee to present your passport to the customs agent.

Oh, this would be great to visit? And what's the best way to get there? Any direct flights from Bucharest, Kiev or Moscow?

Absolutely. We just had a friend return from Cuba....world class service, 5 star hotels, beautiful beaches - all a bargain prices. Think Jamaica without the tourist 'clutter' and half the price.

You can go Air Moldova to Paris and on via Air France. There are a couple of flights a week out of Heathrow.

Moldova have the worst foreign and visa policy among european countries. It is a crazy system and mentality of some parazite officials who make the bad image of Moldova in the world.

You left out Cuba.

Now, do you have a list of countries, such as Turkey, where they can obtain a visa on entry? This would be good for us to know. We're hoping to go to Thailand in the depths of winter, but haven't researched the visa issue.
